Double the Fun: Krishna & Trishna’s Sweet 16 Celebration

Sweet 16 celebrations are always a fun time. But can you imagine the joy of twins celebrating this milestone birthday? Krishna and Trishna’s Sweet 16 bash was a blend of the twins’ style, heartwarming moments, lots of dancing, and even a nod to a Garden State classic.

Krishna & Trishna’s Sweet 16 Celebration

Twins are known for that special bond, and Krishna and Trishna are no exception. This adorable pair wanted a celebration that honored their Indian culture, created an immersive experience, and had everyone up and dancing.

The twins wanted a bit of sophistication for their party, a fun but slightly formal time. Guests dressed in black, with many of the women wearing elegant, beaded sari-influenced gowns. Meanwhile, the twins stood out in gorgeous gold.

Black linens and silver Chiavari chairs set the ballroom background. A lighted marquee with the twins specially designed logo greeted guests in the lounge area. The logo also did double duty on a large projection screen in front of staging used for special dances and family photos. And the twins’ logo could also be found on napkins and canvas swag bags for the guests.

To balance the black and silver, large paper flowers were used throughout the room, giving a whimsical vibe. They mixed beautifully with table designs of orchids, roses, and hydrangeas. 

Sophistication and whimsy were carried into the guest experience as well. Family and friends were treated to a custom perfume station, Sweet 16 coffee bar, and a paan station. The twins even celebrated with a Wawa gas station counter filled with snacks and beverages. Jersey Girls!

Precious Moments and a Packed Dance Floor

One of the highlights of the night had to be the memory-making dance of the twins with their dad. And when it came the twins’ birthday candles, family members and friends lit floating candles with the twins for good wishes. After the candles were lit, the staff rolled out two identical cakes adorned in black and gold, with custom toppers.

Dancing is a large part of an Indian celebration and this Sweet 16 was no exception. Throughout the night, different groups of guests performed joy-filled dances. And when the dance floor opened up and the DJ took over, everyone joined in.
