Planning My Own Daughter’s Bat Mitzvah

One of the biggest challenges for me as an event planner was when I recently planned my own daughter’s Bar Mitzvah in January at The Crystal Plaza. Yes, I was my own client and so many things going through my mind. I understood my guests had high expectations. I wanted to honor my daughter’s input and her own vision. And while I wanted to impress I did not want it to be about showcasing my talents. And at the same time, I wanted to be a Bat Mitzvah mom, kvelling over my child and being able to engage with all my family and friends. So while I want my clients to know about my own event, I thought it would be better from a more third-party perspective. Hope you enjoy this article written by Mitzvah Market.
